We are a women’s business
A metalworking industry outside the box: Zarri is a female-run business.
The metalworking industry has always been perceived as a male-dominated sector. Zarri is reversing this narrative: 76% of our share capital is held by women, and our legal representative is also a woman.
But it’s not just about quotas: Zarri boasts 16 female workers out of 40, including eight in production and the warehouse, which is headed by a woman. Our sales department is all female, with seven women in sales.
We believe in the value of shared work between men and women. In a sector where the presence of women is still rare, we see it as a cultural and professional asset that sets us apart. Because industrial evolution also begins here: with a new business concept, more equitable, inclusive, and capable of interpreting change.
Women and the metalworking industry: beyond stereotypes, into concrete value.
Talking about women’s work in a metalworking company isn’t just about asserting a presence. It’s about describing a real and measurable value, reflected every day in concrete results and a different way of interpreting work.
In production
Women bring precision, consistency, and attention to detail. Qualities that, in repetitive and manual processes, make the difference in terms of product quality and consistency. Their family-run experience strengthens skills such as organization, time management, and problem-solving, which are invaluable in this context.
Men, for their part, historically bring practical skills, manual dexterity, strength, and technical resolution abilities, developed through years of experience in the workshop. The combination of these two perspectives—more analytical and more practical—brings balance and reliable results.
In the warehouse
A warehouse led by a woman brings order, clarity, and interpersonal skills. Planning, an overview, method, and time management are qualities that emerge strongly.
In sales and marketing,
Women contribute with active listening, organization, attention to detail, and nurturing relationships. In marketing, a greater focus is placed on aesthetics, the quality of spaces, and the well-being of those involved, including the management of trade fair stands and events.
In corporate management
Women in management combine vision and the ability to listen, practicality, and foresight. Their experience as mothers and/or family organizers translates into time management, conflict management, nurturing relationships, and caring for people.
Men provide structure, goal-oriented thinking, determination, and the ability to make rational judgments. It is precisely from the balance between human and economic vision that a more comprehensive, resilient, and credible leadership model is born.
For us, value lies not in gender, but in complementarity.
A business grows when men and women know how to work together, valuing each other’s differences.
Diversity isn’t a gender quota, but a wealth of perspectives.
Inclusion isn’t a fad, but a corporate culture.
Equality isn’t a slogan, but a balance of results.
At Zarri, we see it every day.
